i saw this in a text book, as a 'proof' for proving that two particles never meet

I've heard something about particles (or anything) for that matter never meeting or touching because each time they move they only halve the distance between them. But this may work in theory but not practically, because i can reach my keyboard to type.

EDIT: Don't know how that relates to your question though.
