The open beta has been fairly fun, seems like it'll be a good time for anyone who can afford to pay up. Counts me out, but I'm sure a lot of people will have a good time with it

I beta'd WoW and I'm playing everquest 2 currently, and eq2 is much better. I don't expect WoW will have a very long life, whilst eq2 has both a strong fanbase already, graphics that improve with hardware advances and gameplay that promises to be both more rewarding and engaging.

My one bother is that I can't find any pre-paid game cards around like I could for everquest, I hate using my credit card :/

Actually EQ2 has nowhere near as many supporters as WoW. Server 9 is based in US but only AUS and NZ players can play in it.

NFSU2: - Played before in number 1. Both exactly the same shit.
GTA:SA - Vice City has a better storyline, CJ is a faggot and so is his brother.

WoW sucks at the start. after you build a decent character, the game is absolute PWNAGE.

hl2...now that...i've got more amazed shooting wooded planks than killing monsters. the game is like godlike! but its multiplayer im not sure how'd popular it would be.

i dunno about you but i wouldnt pay to play a game i didnt like. i think the ppl have voted and WoW is winning right now, but they are 2 very diffrent games. eq2 is more hardcore and has a longer shelf life as a consequcence of that it takes longer to do anything in it. but the sense of acheviemnt when you do is greater than in WoW. in WoW you level way too easy. WoW is what everquest 1 should have been. eq2 is the game for hardcore MMORPG gamers
