Hi all,

Does anyone know for EXTENSION 2 ENGLISH how word limits work?

For example, is there a 10% above and below limit on word counts

(I.e. if the critical word count is 4000-4500, can we go up to 4950 [10% above])

Also does this apply to the Reflection Statements, or is 1500 the absolute limit???

I'd say you can't go above the word limit as English tends to be extremely strict with these things.

I would tend to agree that going over the word limit = no, but I know a girl last year who was 150 words over the limit and got 50/50. I have no idea how she did it, though to be fair you don't have to put your word limit on your MW anymore.
