I'm a first year OT student doing Intro to OT and my assignment is already over the word limit and I have only just 1/2 finished it. How much can you go over the limit and does the appendix count in the work limit?
Please help me!

usually as a general rule for any subject you are given 10% each way. So you can be 10% over or 10% under the word limit. For example if you had a word limit of 1000 you could write either 900 or 1100 words without penalty. Some tutors may be more flexible than others but really you should aim to stay within your limit. It's a skill you have to learn and soon learn at uni...just make sure you are saying things the quickest and most concise way possible...just write what you think at first and go back over it and cut what you don't really need. What is your word limit?

Btw your appendix and or any type of bibliography don't count towards your word limit :)
