Will my ATAR get me into B Writing & Cultural Studies? (1 Viewer)

The ATAR for this course is 90.25 but I scored 89.60.

What's the likelihood of them accepting me? I heard ages ago that they can be lenient when the mark is close enough (Say within 2 marks). Additionally, I live in a rural area, so I might get that taken into account.

Anyone know? I'm a bit worried.

lol, I was thinking of applying for this course too - my ATAR is 89.25 (exactly one off ^ ^) but I also have an EAS approval from UTS so that may help me due to an educational disadvantage i had..
If only there were bonus points..

Hey, rural kid, you need to ring UAC straight away to let them know you are a rural kid.

Depending on what bands you got, they do have flexible entry and you can get up to 5 bonus points.
So, I'd say it's quite possible. Still keep it as your first preference.
