Hi guys and gals,
I'm a Hong Kong guy who is interested in doing an undergraduate course in Australia. I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. I wanna to pursue a Translating career. Now I am thinking of these 2 universities...

Australian National University (ANU ) : Bachelor of Translation (Asian Region)

University of Western Sydney ( UWS ) : Bachelor of Arts (Intrepreting and Translation)

RMIT University ( in Melbourne ) : Advance Diploma of Interpreting & Translation**

Which course is more well-recognized in Australia? If I graduate with one of these undergraduate course, will I be less competitive compared to people who hold a Master degree of Translation in Australia ?

Is the course in RMIT University the worst of the three?

Thanks:karate:

I would go to ANU, it is the most recognised university for it's specialisations, etc.

UWS is poorly recognised, alot of things are up to standard but at the end of the day it just doesn't cut-it.

The ANU course would be much better in terms of recognition. And yes, you would be less competitive compared to people who have a Master's degree; there wouldn't be much point of getting a Master's if it didn't make you more competitive in employment.
