The bachelor of Biomedicine or the Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University?

A general question.

depends on the individual subjects. You can basically do almost the same thing in a bachelor of science as you do in biomedicine if you plan your course that way...

Also it's very subjective, many biomedicine students would struggle much more in a pure maths major in science than they would in their biomed degree... Depends on what you're good at, you were probably asking about biomedicine compared to similar majors in science though... such as anatomy

Yeah... I would say science is easier...

I would do Science.
- It's about half the CSP cost compared to Biomed.
- It's more flexible.

May I assume you're trying to get into Graduate medicine, optometry, dentistry etc etc?
If so, I think that they are going to be slanted in their selection between the two degrees, even though they said that they will not.
So in this case, Biomed might be that little bit better. =]

I am thinking of doing graduate optometry at melbourne.
