Exam is tomorrow. i'm kicking myself over these essay questions. Have about the same knowledge base for all of them but can't decide which one would have more resources behind it/easier examples. Or hell, which one would be the most fun?
1.Conceptual framework: How an exhibit reflects a particular aspect of the world. Familiarity with a couple of exhibitions e.g. Degas, mcubbin, Yasuma or archibald prize.
2. Cultural frame: How art reflects a particular time and place. Needs specific examples, what society was like, refer to world history.
3. How postmodernism challenged the ideas of the art world (Yawn). Examples of sculptural practices/ contemporary design. Differences from 100 years ago.
after typing all that out I'm tempted to go with the first, but have a look and decide which one you would pick and why (they would make good practice essays as they're pretty vague)
