I wish to drop my program (due to health issues) and want to know when the census date actually is. Also, if I wish to re-enrol next year into UNSW, will I be considered as though I never went to UNSW (ie a usual high school leaver)? Will EAS bonus points still apply?

Yeah it's the 31st of March. If you withdraw out of the courses now, you won't have any financial/academic penalty.

I believe you can apply for a Program Leave and you can resume your program next year.

"Program leave may be granted to enrolled domestic Undergraduate and Postgraduate students wishing to discontinue their current enrolment with the intention of resuming their studies at a later date. Leave is generally restricted to no more than two semesters over the duration of a student's enrolment in a Program. Applications for leave in excess of two semesters will be approved only in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Program Authority. Program leave is not usually available to International students."
