Personally i found the test easier than the 2unit one :S. Im hoping for a 81/84 .. my favourite topics came up in Q6,7 :)

What would this scale to?

i'm going to wait for some numeric answers too. You saw what happened with ext 2, all the proofs were fine, but then stupid calculator errors brought down my mark.

If I didn't make any other silly mistakes I should get 82/84. I didn't have time to prove the last question (but I'm confident I got the width of the two areas the projectile could land in) and in the inverse simultaneous functions I wrote the second function with a +cosx^-1 instead of a -...

I thought that a 70-80% raw mark would scale into the top band. The raw cutoffs that I have seen seem to indicate this.

I got to bed at 3:00 last night, so I wasn't exactly in the best condition for a test. I panicked and once again messed up my time management. I'm hoping for a raw mark around 80%.

Going through the test just now i think i could get a maximum of about 64.. So i'll be really happy with anything over 55/84..

In 2001 a 56/84 alligned to a 46/50.

Though the values obviously would vary somewhat due to the difficulty of the paper, I would assume that a mark in the mid 70's would still scale into the 45+range. I hope.

I don't really know though, so If someone could clarity this matter, it would be of great help.

hi 5 dude. I went to bed around 3 and woke up at 6 to study but i kept falling asleep so like that was pointless. Also like you , i stuffed up my time management. I had 5-10 minutes to do question 7 T.T"
overall , that was easier than last year's and i want/hope/need an 80+% raw mark.

based on these factors, can we generate some raw mark band cutoffs?

?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 50% Aligned HSC Mark
?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 60% Aligned HSC Mark
?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 70% Aligned HSC Mark
?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 80% Aligned HSC Mark
?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 85% Aligned HSC Mark
?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 90% Aligned HSC Mark
?/84 Raw HSC Mark = 95% Aligned HSC Mark
lol/84 Raw HSC Mark = 100% Aligned HSC Mark
