hey guys

i have hit a wall and i am completely lost at what subjects to drop.

i currently do (and will be doing for at least 1 term)

english advanced
english extension 1
mathematics
mathematics extension 1

mathematics extension 2
(yes i know mathematics doesnt count, but you know.. )
business studies
economics
ancient history

the ones in red are the confirmed subjects in keeping lol but the rest im lost i duno what to drop

if you want any stats on my average performance post here pls

thats the problem, theyre all about the same playing field (excluding maths extension 2)

its been a mixed bag; ive had my highs and lows for all subjects but no complaints but extension 1 english, but the problem with that is i cant see myself doing it

I suggest keep ALL of them indefinitely and see how you find them in the first couple of weeks. During this "trial" period, think about which ones interest you more and would be something that you enjoy studying. If you're fine with the workload and/or still unsure, hold on to them until something's made you decide.

I would suggest keeping them all too, because unless you drop an extension subject, you will be back down to 11. I would personally keep them all just for the backups. I am doing 13 units for year 12 and I had to drop one of my subjects otherwise I would have 15, which is insane.

Make sure you drop Physics.
I know its not one of your subjects but it crucial that you remember to drop it.

Why must you drop a subject though? Just keep all of them and drop when you feel like you want to. Or maybe you just *think* that's too many?

why drop physics?

personally, i would drop buisness studies and ext 1 english, and pick up something like chem or physics

hmmm maybe drop Ancient History? unless u are planning to do history in the future or if ur really good @ it.

but nonetheless....u shouldnt really be askin us coz its ur future.

is there one you don't enjoy? cos generally that is the subject you go worst in.. usually people dont like maths, physics sometimes economics.. lol..

ok thansk guys, but i cant change subejcts now, its term 3 almost the start of the hsc and you need to complete 120 hours of a course in the prelim
