By the way, the top mark in the state for Business Studies was 98, Economics was 99 and Senior Science was 98.

That's a very very good question. However, I think that a raw mark of EITHER 83 or 84 in the E1 exam gives you a scaled mark of 100/100 as your "Exam Mark"

Oh, I see, so you are saying that even though you got 100 for your exam mark, someone got a higher raw mark higher than you but still got scaled to 100 anyway.

I'm not sure how telepathetic could have got 99 when the top mark was definitely 98. And it was 98 exactly, so it couldn't have been rounded up... perhaps he made a typo when posting his marks? Interesting.
