Hi guys.

sooo, for all of this week ive been away from school sick:mad1: All im worried about is the pile of work that i'll have to catch up on! so It got me thinking.. Why isnt Australia like the U.S., where they can 'hook up' to their classroom via sattelite and webcam?

The same problem happened to me a few weeks back, and I missed out on heaps (and anyone that does PDHPE will know that thats not a wise thing to do)

Your thoughts...

get someone to get the work for you?

lol.. our teachers always told us to find a 'buddy' for when you're away or sick so they can get all the notes for you when you come back

Email the teacher and ask for the material that you missed and going to miss due to illness.
Teachers appreciate it when they are kept informed and if you show you are keen and eager to learn and not fall behind, they would usually be keen and eager to support you and help you.

we always have our teachers emails so we can email them if we want to...our school also has a school 'intranet' like a website that only students and teachers from the school can access and we can access this both at school and from home and teachers will post work and extras on that...(and we are a bogan/very druggo public school so i'm sure other schools could set up a similar system)
