Anyone know what this means?

u evaluate the EFFECTIVENESS (please tell me you know what this means by now) of the legal measures ie. ICCPR, ICESCR, EEO, CROC etc and non legal measures ie. amnesty international, red cross etc

When it said non-legal, I was not sure if it mean NGOs or not :S but I understand now. I actually have one more question for some ideas:

'Criminal penalties always reflect community standards and expectations'

What sort of cases could I use? I have some but they more involve the operation of the legal system.

Thankyou so much, I just found an article on it. So basically, did a gang rape occur, the offenders were prosecuted, but the verdict dismissed because of jury interference, and then another trial would not occur because the victim could not go through it again?

don't call it gang rape-proper legal terminolgy is sexual assault in company.
yeah there was an appeal bcoz of wat the juries did.

now the sentence has been halved

it is said there will be ANOTHER appeal
but this will be after our HSC so dw about it

How many cases do you have for various points of the law? I have a few examples of reform, Gonzales case now the Skaf case. How many should we have or how many is ideal?
