What concepts must i retain in understanding going into year 12.
Not really specific, but i'm assuming mole concepts and concentration MCAT maybe (anything else).
Moreover anything from chemical Earth beside the fundementals you use i.e balanceing equations? As i went quite bad in that area for some reason.
My teacher is way too general in her answers, if someone could articulate and i would be greateful.

everything calculation related (moles/volume/concentration/mcat/etc) must be understood well. Avogadro stuff is rarely tested in yr 12
general stuff like solubility, IUPAC, polarity (anything that can be applied to different things) are assumed knowledge. Not much history is passed onto yr 12
overall anything that is specific eg. bronze/iron age stuff isn't passed on. Looking at syllabus, id say all of chemical earth is fundamental for yr 12 chem.

1. I would disagree with that since it's related to equal moles of gases occupy equal volumes at the same temperature and pressure.
2. You should carry on ALL skills.

N/A
Obvious the first topic as it is the fundamental of chemistry
Also need to know about hydrocarbons, types of bonding/forces, polarity, a bit of the metals topic (such as the reactivity series, displacement, etc)
There's probably a bit more, but don't worry about it too much. If you forget it, you'll learn it again in the HSC course
