hey all
do u know for ways of holiness if they always just ask about one way of holiness. (and we choose) or can they ask about two?
im so confused bout how they are goin to structure the Qs!!
thanx all who can help
Students learn to:
compare and contrast how TWO religious traditions understand either the ordinary ways of holiness or special ways of holiness in relation to TWO of the following areas:
– models and guides
– special ways of apartness
– ultimate goal of holiness
– justification from sacred writings
– role of authoritative sources other than sacred writings.
from the syllabus
.: they can ask one or two areas though I doubt they will actually specify the areas, just the number....eg "Using one (or two) areas you have studied, how have......"
Keep in mind the structure of the new HSC questions as well...they will ask for more than just the last part of the syllabus
(and no, the marking criteria doesnt split the question into sep. areas. You will have to answer the entire question as it is set out)
have a look at last years paper (from boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au) for the wording and structure (keeping in mind that last year was the first time they used a full 20 marks for this section rather than three sep. questions totaling 20)
