Well, the VSU billed passed yesterday, but we should all have received an email from UNSW saying that fees would be collected for S1 2006.

I wonder what happens now..?

now onto the serious stuff
the immediate effects of the VSU legislation for UNSW:

The Union (who provides all the food outlets, runs yellowshirts, etc) - They are screwed since they take the biggest chunk out of your student fees and will have face the biggest impact naturally

The PostGradudate Board are screwed, they wont have enough money to pay their wages and maintain any level of activity

For the Student Guild
Clubs and Societies have their funding reduced by over 33%
We can no longer sponsor the Childcare services at UNSW after semester1. same with CONTACT.
spending on departments like education and welfare, environment, womens, ethnic affairs and international students all have to be reduced


VSU doesnt kill the ambitions of student politicians, they kill the vibrant campus life we enjoy

Oi, you there, stop bagging out the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God. Show some respect mate, after all, he is the General Superintendent, not just some low-ranking sh%t kicker.
