This is from Patel Ex 3C

Q: Find the volume of the torus obtained by rotating the area bounded by the circle x^2 + y^2 = a^2 about the line x=c (c>a).
Use : a) shell method
b)the washer method.

I know how to do this using shell method but i'm wondering how you use it in washer method :S

Basically it's the same as taking slices. Patel likes to call it the "washer method" though.
