When discussing change in context in relation to change in values can you include theatrical conventions and langauge as a value affected by change in context?

Not really.
But you are right in identifying the nature of the form and techniques which are developed/used in a particular context.
The easy answer is - the form and technique are your evidence NOT a value.
Values include - action, order and uncertainty. Interestingly, they work for both texts but are handled differently because of context and form.
