Hey I received an offer to study law at UTS and I'm currently in my second year studying Business/Law at UWS. Does UTS give exemptions to all subjects studied in the first year at UWS, so if I accept the offer I would only have 3 years left of studying at UTS?? So my law units would be exempted and my business would be exempted as the non-law electives in UTS?

You will need to fill in a Application for recognition of prior learning form and send to Law faculty before enrolment.

I dunno if I should go to UTS. Cause wouldn't it be more competitive than UWS, hence, harder?

But do they do similiar things? I was thinking if I am going to do law then I might as well do it in a more respectable uni ... but then a degree is a degree and the rumours abt the reputation are rumours. And it might be more difficult as well. I'm really confused. And please no unconstructive replies thanks.

70113 Legal Process and History 10cp -I know youve done a similar subject to this

other core subs which u may or may not ahve done are:
25300 Fundamentals of Business Finance 6cp
26134 Business Statistics 6cp
these are second year business/law subjects [first year business]
and theres an option which ull have to do at UTS
Select 6 credit points from the following options: 6cp
21193 Business Strategy 6cp
22207 Accounting Transactions and Business Decisions 6cp
but you do that 2nd year

my business subs are stats, accounting 2 and finance for 2nd year
and my law subs we r doing in 2nd year are:first sem:
70217 Criminal Law 6cp
70211 Law of Contract 8cp

2nd sem:
70311 Law of Torts 8cp
70616 Federal Constitutional Law 8cp
