My school has an excursion for Extension 2 students only to UTS to attend a few lectures - anyones school doing the same?

Yea my schools doing that too. We filled in forms choosing the lectures we wanted to go to on wednesday.

I think its called talented students day or something.
It costs $20 unless your school is a member of some maths organisation (then its $15).

My maths teacher is doing one of the lectures too.


I think I put down for the conics lecture in the afternoon, and I forget which morning ones i put down.


does anyone know if you can park at UTS?

Yeah, ours is on the 31st though. School paying the $15 fee so all good.

My friend who went to it last year told me its really gud. But our yr is missing it due to a change of headteachers in the math department. this kills. if ua skool is going i advice u to go.

I found it kinda pointless tbh. The first 2 sessions were irrelevant (especially because I dont want to do maths in uni), and the third was okay (I did the inequalities one)

On the plus side I got out of a day of school including a two hour assembly and a double period of english.

Howd the rest of you find it?
