Hey Guys,
I just received my ATAR yesterday, which was lower than anticipated at 98.40. Due to this, I am newly conflicted about the university I should go to and somewhat, the course I want to do. I presently believe Commerce/Law is the best option for my course, with the three university pathways that I am considering being:
Go directly into Commerce/Law at Monash
Do commerce at University of Sydney and get a high enough WAM to internally transfer after 1 year
Do commerce at UNSW and get a high enough WAM to internally transfer after 1 year (only got 37 percentile on the LAT so unlikely to get a direct offer)
I prefer Sydney because of the higher job prospects for management consulting/finance-related jobs and the fact that my brother lives there already. However, I am from Darwin, so moving to melbourne would be fine. I'm just concerned that monash would not provide the same job opportunities after as the other two universities, and thus that it is better to take the risk of trying to internally transfer.
