Hey all,
I was wondering what makes a 'useable' (for want of a better word) related text?
I have a song that a friend of mine has written, music-fied and sung that would like to do for a related text, and my teacher couldnt really give me a 'yes/no' answer on wether I could use it in an essay.
She has put it on youtube, so if i credited the author as her account name on my essay, it would be possible for examiners to look it up (which i have heard that they do with unknown related texts?) Another problem is, 'I broke My Eyebrow' isnt really someone I want to credit in an essay... :S
What do you think?
Ive written essays for a school assignment with it (they didnt know the girl, so didnt know it wasnt properly published song) and couldnt really be bothered to learn a new text now :S
