Just woundering if anyone could help....
was given a geography assignment to do in the holidays and well still havent attempted it and only have 2wks left... its on a local area and an urban dynamic...
I live in newcastle and was going to do something around nelson bay and the impact and change that tourism has had on it... but dont know what dynamic this would fall under

Hey, well you could do urban consolidation if the area has increased in population density, which most coastal places have due to tourism. Also, urban renewal or gentrification could be an option, as many houses may have been fixed up, or shop fronts 'modernised'. Just remember, consolidation doesn't just mean building up, it's increasing population density, so i'd say that's the best dynamic to run with.

I think remember studying the 'Honeysuckle' developments on Newcastle harbour in geography as an example of urban renewal... Or is that not an appropriate 'local area'...
