Hey guys,
Just wondering what are the stats for unsw gateway entry for double degree of law and commerce. I really need to get into this because ain't no way I'm getting a high enough atar for it

My school is ranked 225th and here are my marks for year 11:
English Advanced - 89% - 2/39
Maths Advanced - 89% - 1/18
Business Studies - 95% - 2/38
Legal Studies - 95% - 1/38
PDHPE - 91% - =1/40
Studies of Religion II (I did this accelerated so here are my yr 12 2024 marks) - 95% - 1/56

I got all As.

Also, how good does my personal statement need to be to get it - does anyone have an exemplars I could have that they used and got in with
Also, for double law do they do unconditional offers, or is it just conditional offers? And if so, do you reckon my marks are enough to get unconditional offer?

Another consideration would be the LAT since UNSW seems to be the only uni to have it. I'm not sure if gateway entry is an exemption from sitting the lat, but it is held around September so you should be good with preparing for it.
Your marks and more importantly, your ranks are pretty good at the moment. Even with a 94.25 entry for com/law, you should be eligible if you can apply for eas or any other addition to your selection rank.

for the gateway take in mind u have to be a gtaeway school, abo, or low ses. also law with an atar isn't hard if u do well in the LAT- which is simple if u work for it (eg- any LAT over 90 tech means any ater over 85-90) btw in the long run, law isn't as good as everyone makes it. u'll be starting off for ~2 years slaving away for close to no money then u still need to find a firm that'll hire u without exploiting u and due to the huge influx of law grads its close to impossible to get a good job - its alot more spoken than happened imo (which is why its a double degree so if u dont find the job u can use ur other degree to do something at the very least)

you don't know what you're talking about- if you get a shit atar and good lat, you're out. they might let you in with a 95 atar if you 99 in the lat. if you get a 99+ atar yeah you're in. if you're in the 80s you better move to fucking bankstown because they wont even look at ur lat
