Using Chemical Engineering as an example, where are the listed majors in the handbook (http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2014/3040.html)? Under Area(s) of Specialisation?

Is Chemical Engineering considered a major under the degree Bachelor of Engineering?

Sorry, just really confused.

Chemical Engineering is a major under the Bachelor of Engineering.

Just like Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Environmental, Mining etc.

Then what is Food Science and Technology at the bottom of the page (http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/programs/2014/3040.html) considered? Also a major under..?

I believe it is another major.

UNSW has 2 majors under the "Chemical Engineering" 'program' - Chemical, and Food Science and Technology.

Just like how Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing/Mechatronic/Naval are under the "Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering" 'program', but I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Or like how "Photovoltaics & Solar Energy" has 2 majors - Photovoltaics and Solar Energy, and Renewable Energy.

There's three engineering majors under the School of Chemical Sciences.

Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Food Science and Technology. These are all accredited engineering courses.
