So I see a bunch of threads from AGES ago about how it might be too late to apply for accommodation at UNSW..
Here's the deal:
I'm lazy, people have been telling me since January last year that I should apply ASAP, I could have listened, I didn't. Don't care.
I'm indigenous, doing MBBS (med/surgery) in 2013 (already been accepted), just left high school (2012 HSC).
I believe if I get a catered place to live Centrelink will pay for accommodation costs + $40 a fortnight for whatever else I need... Can this be confirmed?
Is there any chance of still getting a place at one of these colleges?
If not, where else can I live?
I'm starting applications for the Kensington colleges, Warrane, New College. Are there any more?
What are the chances of getting into these? Because I'm poor as hell, and I don't really want to pay money for these applications if there is zero chance.
