I'm available to tutor ppl doing their HSC this year; I'm based in
Sydney's Eastern suburbs, good spots to meet at would be places like
Randwick or Bowen (Maroubra) Libraries. I can also meet in the city,
eg. State Library. Other places are also possible, just tell me. Here's my
stats:

UAI 99.65

English 2 Unit - 97 - Physical journeys (Skrzynecki poetry), In the
Wild (Bladerunner/Brave New World), Telling the Truth (Frontline),
Critical Study (King Lear). And I have great recommendations for
supplementary texts.

Eng 3 Unit - 48 - Postmodernism

Maths 3 Unit - 95 (4 unit is too crazy to tutor for)

Ancient History 2 Unit - 96 - Society: Rome from Augustus to Titus,
Time Period: Rome 133-78 BC & Greece C4th to Alexander's Death,
Personality: Alex the Great.

Ancient History 3 Unit - 45 - Tacitus Case study. I got 40/40 in the extended essay.

I can also help out with the American SATs if anyone's doing them. And
I've also experienced the horrors of the UMAT, so I can give u some
pointers about that too.

If ure interested, PM me. Charges are around $30 - 40 per hour (that's
tentative and negotiable!). English is my forte, so do contact me, I
have great notes/supplementary texts, and for essay technique I have a great many resources to help you along your way.

Well I did the SATs in the old days (ie, last year :p) when the score was out of 1600... anyway I got 1560 (only 2 questions wrong in the whole thing and I get dropped back 40 points! :p). However there isn't much that has changed in the new test and I am quite willing to tutor people for the SATs too :)

Oh and if anyone wants English tutoring in the next two months, I'm quite free, so contact me!!

why would people in australia be doing the sats?
Because they want to go to the US for tertiary study.

haha sats dont even have calculus.
obviously, but it's a hard test nonetheless. try doing three hours straight (well, one token 5 min break) alternating between english and maths like there's no tomorrow. lol. and imagine doing that on the saturday after your HSCs finished!!

btw if you are the person i think you are: don't give up hope, there's still second round.

Haha, nah im not expecting anything for second round. But I guess it doesn't matter too much since after talking to some unswers and some uni melbers, i want to go to uni melb (grad or undegrad).

I'm up for some pretty intensive stuff mate. I helped 4 people all at different times during the two months leading up to the HSC - now that was intense. I guess you're a bit less intense than that - at least in terms of the amount of time you have ;) Anyway, I'm quite free the next two months, so as I said, contact me.
