I need some trig hel

Solve tan theta = sin 2 theta [0 =< theta =< 360]

Give the general solution of cos x + sin^2 x = 5/4

2sin@(cos@)^2 - sin@ = 0
sin@(2(cos@)^2 - 1) = 0
sin @ = 0 and 2(cos@)^2 - 1 = 0

im sure you can take it from here.

2)

cbb doing it but just change sin^2x into 1 - cos^2x and form a quadratic equation. Then just sub it into the general formula, I think it is cos @ = 2npi +- theta where n is an integer
