I have accepted my offer from UTS for a bachelor of science, but a couple of nights ago I just received an offer from USYD for a bachelor of liberal arts and science. Ultimately, I want to end up doing a bachelor of science at USYD. Would it be easier for me to just stick to the bachelor of science at UTS for a year, then apply to transfer for the next year? Or do a degree that I'm not that interested in, but would be easier for me to transfer credits?

Thanks! x

At least for BLAS you can count the units you've done through Arts for electives and the Science units will be credited for B Science. The likelihood of USyd counting all of UTS' units as equivalents is rare - you may have to repeat some units.

As stated here: http://sydney.edu.au/science/cstudent/ug/forms/transfer.shtml - internal transfers without the need of UAC is only done for B Liberal Studies from BLAS. If you're coming from UTS its half your WAM and half your ATAR that will be considered before transferring.

EDIT/ADD ON: Good luck and all the best. :)
