Currently first year, second sem straight-comm student (fins major)

Looking to transfer into a double degree, majoring in either psych or philosophy.

Question is, will there be a lot of core courses under the other faculty that I will need to complete?
And how long will my 3 yr degree extend to?

A double degree with Commerce is 4 years with the exception of degrees such as Law and Engineering. Using Commerce/Science as an example. You would have done more of your commerce subjects compared to a Commerce/Science student starting straight after high school. However, they would have done more science subjects than you since you did 0. Once you transfer, you will be doing more science and less commerce than them in your second year. By the time you are in your 3rd/4th year you are on the same track.

Yes there will be core courses that you need to do for Science. I think there are 4-6 cores from the top of my head.
