Traineeship/ Apprenticeship whats the difference? (1 Viewer)

Whats the difference between an apprenticeship and traineeship?
do they both require you to work full time?

i think apprentice ship is for like more practical things like plumbing.. electrician.. construction worker etc
but traineeship is for retail (usually) or other things in the tertiary sector.. and i dont think it lasts as long? apprenticeships r usually 3 years but traineeships are about 1?
