AP - Let the couch-jumping begin: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are expecting a baby.

Holmes' pregnancy was reported today by People magazine.

The couple have been dating since April and became engaged in June.

"Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family is very excited," Lee Anne DeVette, Cruise's spokeswoman, told People.

It would be Holmes' first child.

Cruise has two children, Connor, 10, and Isabella, 12, adopted with his former wife, Australian actor Nicole Kidman.

No further details were available. DeVette added that Holmes, 26, "has never felt better."

i thought katie holmes didnt believe in sex before marriage...kah!...i used to idolise her...and now she is pregnant and not married...how rude...not that there is anything wrong with that...but yeh...she used to be so innocent...well i hope the baby is well...and it will be a very cute baby since its parents have looks

He's got her hook, line and sinker now that she's pregnant she'll never be able to leave him. I remember once reading a story and her friends were saying how overbearing tom is and how Katie wasn't handling it too well and was thinking of leaving him.. I would- he's a nutcase.

i was reading the paper yesterday and it said that katie is 3months pregnant meaning she got pregnant in july and they got engaged in july...could that mean that tom proposed coz she was pregnant??
