hi. i was looking at timetables on the unsw website n i noticed that lectures are sometimes after tutes during the week. i always thought that you go to your lectures for a general understanding of a topic, but afterwards look at it more closely in tutes. can someone please explain this to me.

They cant just put all the lectures at the beginning of the week and the tutes at the end of the week. There's a thousand courses running and it'll clash big time, with the room allocations and whatnot.
It would be a good idea to put your tutes after your lecture, for the reason you mentioned, but sometimes you cant help it due to clashes in your timetable, and it doesnt really matter that much if you have a tute before the lecture.

It's okay. This year there is a new system where there will be no tute in week 1, and no lecture in week 13. So all should work out.

The tute you have will cover the previous weeks lecture material anyway, so it doesnt matter which you have first
