Thoughts on ANU's new course BPPE/JD (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm seriously considering placing Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics/Juris Doctor as my first preference but my parents have expressed ambivalence as to the job prospects of graduates of this program. Just wanted to ask for some general thoughts on this new degree.

This degree sounds geared towards aspiring politicians. So there's one career possibility. JD would get you set up for law (I think?), so you could become a lawyer. You can also go into related fields for a job, or perhaps take further study if you are that way inclined.

I don't think that this course will have little job prospects...but I guess it depends on what you want to do.
