Hey, as most of you guys do, we have our english modules test tomorrow, but since we have hardly studied or module C text (by this I mean we have literally ONLY watched the movie once) we are only being tested on the first 15 minutes of the movie (The Queen); up until the tunnel scene.
Here is the question:
How is the representation of the relationship between history and memory an integral part of your text?
In your response ensure you discuss the representation of events, personalities or situations in the text you have studied. Avoid just retelling the plot.
The Queen:
From the start of the film up to the black- out representing the car crash in the Paris tunnel.
What are the ways in which the queen shows the relationship between history and memory in this excerpt? Do you guys have any ideas, techniques, specific scenes?
Any help would be great.
I understand that history and memory both play an important role, but how should I go about answering the question?
Also, first post! Been lurking for quite a while though.
