Spark notes are very helpful http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/crucible/

And if your willing to spend a few, I would recommend Excel HSC Area of Study - The Crucible http://www.pascalpress.com.au/HSC-English-Area-of-Study-Guide-The-Crucible-p/9781741253429.htm I just started reading this, and as i flicked through, It had a summary each character. This book helps if your Area of Study is on belonging.
Thanx NooduHut! the Excel Crucible text was really helpful! and yes the sparknotes are really useful! thanx heaps! I had this response to write and i just needed a little help understanding it! :D
