textbooks and lockers (1 Viewer)

i've seen some of the textbooks required for some courses and they are thick as hell. are we required to bring our textbooks to lectures etc ?
and are there lockers for students to purchase at uni?

Most people just leave their textbooks at home. Take notes at uni, study with them + textbook at home. Some tutors will ask you to bring your textbook though.. but I've never found myself in a situation where I've NEEDED it.

Minus language courses, I've always needed my textbooks for them. I tend to carry only one textbook with me to uni (either my language texts or another subject to study).

I know there are some lockers to purchase in the chemical sciences building but I don't know if you have to be in the facualty.

With text books you mostly don't need them for the actual uni. Occasionly you will need them for some things but only that, Occasionly

essentially textbooks are more of reference items. They're usually not your primary source of information, although they give a deeper and richer background on what you're studying.
