The Half-Yearlies should be over and I disliked it.

My results:

English (Standard): 25/45
Mathematics 2U: 76/98
Info Processes & Tech: 78/100
Physics: 33/49
Chemistry: 45/56
Mathematics Ext 1: 22/76
Sport, Life and Rec: NO RESULTS YET

Dammit I have to redo Extension (29%), school policy dictates that anyone who gets under 30% must redo the same exam ..... :( :mad1:

EDIT: With a little mark scabbing, I got 30%, now theres no news whether I have to do Ext. Maths again ...
RE-EDIT: Redone Ext 1 exam ... waiting for new results ... however it will not count to my actual result :(
ANOTHER RE-EDIT: Got 78% ....

Some excellent result some preliminary students are boosting there and if you didn't do to well there is still time to improve for the yearlies and for year 12.

Best 2 units of English counts towards your UAI.

I so should have studied more and my results show it, but I did no more than 2 hours the day before each exam and got these poor results:

Mathematics: 73% (70/96) - no idea what rank
Maths Ext: 53% (32/60) - again, not sure about rank, but a fair few in the class failed (the lowest score being 11). The teacher says we have potential if we scored over 26 so I'm ok I guess
Adv English: 80% (20/25) 19th outta 160, top of my class by a mile
Ext English: Bad, but not sure how bad just yet
Physics: 80% (44/55) 1st
Chemistry: 63% (38/60) not too happy with this one
Economics: 81% (81/100) 1st
Legal Studies: 82% (62/75) 2nd (by only 1 %) but 1st in class by heaps too.

I always thought of the preliminary year as a platform for the HSC year, so you guys can build on these marks, and improve for next year.
You are so wise. <3
