This is the thread where you can bitch/ask/horay about your tax return.

My tax return estimate is $1215.75

Oh hello tax return + 4 weeks of full time pay = very fucking sexy laptop + much left over.

I'm getting either $1000 or $1600. I won't know until I get my tax return from Woolworths- I'm not expecting it any time soon.

assuming u dont claim anything, u'll hav to pay $1200 tax (15% of $8000, first $6000 is tax-free). So, you should get $2300 back.

TOTAL TAX RETURN = A whooping $9! :D

Yay! Lodged my tax return with the ATO. I was thinking all the hassle wasn't worth just getting $27 back, but now I know how to fill out the form (hey, I was going to have to learn at some stage and probably do it for quite some time until I'm rich enough to pay an accountant to do so) and the software allows me to pre-fill my details in for next year's tax return, so yay.

no idea how much i'll get...no cert yet and havent bothered to look at my last pay slip..all i know is i'm sure i'll get it all back. probably be a few 00's there :)
real jobs are cool caus you get monies back, cash jobs are cooler caus you get all the monies at the same time..me likies

Just been working for 6 weeks...shoulod get about $250 back. Soo jealous of all you people getting thousands of dollars back tho!

should get back round 855 ($13,040 gross with 1269 tax witheld)....thank god for deductions such as work boots (dun use them but claimable), laundry (mum washes clothes but stuff it claim it)....ill be saying hello to a better computer and a base for my savings :)

pretty sure you can claim the use of an accountant for your tax return on your next tax return :D something like that anyway

i'm getting a bit over $600! not a lot compared to many of you guys, but i'm still way happy :D
