I studied Law/Int Studies at Sydney Uni last semester, and deferred this semester. I didn't like my course/Sydney Uni and want to transfer into comms/law at UTS,
My understanding is that I need to go back through UAC and my ATAR will determine whether or not I will be offered a place to study law at UTS for next year.

Can anyone confirm this?

If you've studied full time for one year then UAC will use a combination of both your ATAR and your WAM.

If you've studied full time for one year then UAC will use a combination of both your ATAR and your WAM.

Not anymore. They rank you based on your ATAR and WAM separately and choose the higher rank.
It's not 50/50 anymore.
