Hey!! Can someone help on these song lyrics in terms of physical journeys? I need help with concepts of the journey and techniques!! Thanx here are the lyrics!!!

I've been to cities that never close down
From New York to Rome and old London town
But no matter how far
Or how wide I roam
I still call Australia home

I'm always travelin'
And I love bein' free
So I keep leavin' the sun and the sea
But my heart lies waiting over the foam
I still call Australia home

All the sons and daughters spinning 'round the world
Away from their families and friends
Ah, but as the world gets older and colder
It's good to know where your journey ends

And someday we'll all be together once more
When all the ships come back to the shore
Then I realize something I've always known
I still call Australia home

No matter how far
Or how wide I roam
I still call Australia home

well, I'm not sure about this.. but I'll try.. after all, trying is the first step to succeeding (or failing spectacularly!)

"I've been to cities that never close down"

The suggestion of physical journey is evident here, it shows that the author has travelled and had first hand experience of a world previously unknown to him. The use of triplets in From New York to Rome and old London town suggests that his journey is neverending and will continue for a long time.

However, this does not say anything particular about what he has learned from this travel! (the concept of physical journey) It mearly states that he has traveled alot... which then you'll need to somehow tie to stanza 3 along the lines of:

After a long journey "far and wide" across the world, the author remembers/finds the true value of the stability of his "families and friends" back in Australia. Thus, he feels compelled to journey back to australia in which he "still call (australia) home."

NOW STOP! and think!

What is your focus material? i.e. skrzynecki, rabbit proof fence or some other random stuff BOS likes to chuck in.

IF it is skrzynecki or other poems, I want you to forget about using ALL SONGS as your additional text!
As poems and songs are too alike. If you use it in the hsc after analysing the poem, the examiner will see (or just conclude) that you have got a narrow scope of knowledge restricted to stanza type stuff... so you gotta pic a visual/ diary or other format.

(yes, I did (kinda) wing my result in english =P)
