Hey, I'm a yr 12 (2013) student looking at UOW for next year. The UNSW forum has a pretty big thread on reviews on subjects they took:

eg:

ARTS1090 Media, Culture & Everyday Life
Ease: 9/10 (the assessments were quite easy to handle: a weekly blog of readings review, a research proposal+paper, tutorial discussions)
Lecturer: 8/10 - Scott. His lectures weren't boring at all. Lots of examples that relate to media in everyday life (which is what the subject is about, right?) But his time management wasn't that good
Interest: 9/10 (taught me a lot of the proper media theories explaining what's going on about the Internet, broadcast media and lots of other media subjects)

I think it'd be helpful for people deciding timetabling and future students if you could volunteer any info/experiences/opinions on your subjects?
