hey i'm really up in the air about what subject to choose so i'm just asking for some perspective on this.

I do 2u Mathematics, Adv. English, Modern History, Economics, Extension History, Legal Studies and Business Studies.

There's 13 units there and i'm looking to bring it down to 11 and the subject which i'm looking at dropping is either Business Studies or Legal Studies.

My questions is which subject would be more beneficial come UAI time?

The business teacher is piss poor and there's only 6 of us in my legal class so i can get plenty of teacher assistance. Last year my Legal Teacher was SO BAD (we found out this week she had cancer which might explain) and we had subs all the time last year and not much work really got done. This applies to business studies too as i only started the course 1/2 the way through the year.

Can Legal Studies still be done very well without a super year 11 prelim?

Thanks to anyone who can give me a little help

legal studies and business studies aren't very 'high' scaling subjects, and since you are uncomfortable after their prelim courses it is hard to tell which one to drop. since u have a shit biso teacher and only six in ur legal class i think it might be better to drop business, hopefully u will get a better teacher for legal for the hsc

or do 13 units until u have a better idea

I would suggest keeping legal simply because of the teacher attention you would recieve, but you have to keep in mind your marks, rankings and what you want to do after school (uni) as to what subjects would be more beneficial for you and your uai.

Maybe you could keep both of them to start off with then drop one of them once you get an idea of the course and hoe difficult you find it?
Good luck with your decison :)
