careless mistakes are inevitable... we do them coz we are under so much pressure with time.. thats all...

i hate simply multiplication or addition mistakes..

also another reason for screwing up the maths comps (no calcs) hehehe

well if you have time a few minutes check what you did in the first five minutes of the test, its where a majority of stupid mistakes are made, by doing this i gained like 5 marks.

Obviously in Ext 1 time is a factor.......I usually have about 5-10 mins left by the time I get upto question 7
Is it worth it to use that time to check over the other questions and let question 7 be or should I have a go at it?

Don't you hate it when, you change an answer to a question.. and then 5 minutes after an exam you realise you changed the right answer to the wrong one.

Or, when you spend 30 minutes stressing over a question, and then realise 5 minutes after that you knew how to do it.

I think i nearly broke a window on a train home from 3u today. *sigh*

Stupid, show why L is a max with this value.. sub the value in... wtf?!? why do i keep getting zero.

I though the L was dl/D0, and i was doign it right all that time.

ARGH!!!!!!

Good bye ranking :(

OK, in the 4U trial,

I was finding the square root of 3-i (dont worry about i). And i ended up with an answer of 2x+1. WHERE THE HELL DID THE x COME FROM!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!

Then, I had 12 - 12, and I didn't simplify, how frkn dumb is that.

In 3U, i had x^2+1/x^2+1, crossed it out, and forgot to write 1 on the next line. DAMN IT!!!

In my trial, I pressed the LOG button instead of ln. Thats pretty bad even for me. Other stupid mistakes in the past include:

x/x = 0 (did that in 4Unit and 3Unit using product rule)
not to mention 1x1=2

my personal favourite however is the acceleration of a particle moving in SHM is 4000ms^-2
between end points of +2cm and -2cm

when i was doing my chemistry trial i had time left over so i went over my multiple choice and i changed so many questions from right to wrong! i was so pissed off. i got 88% and could have been in the 90s easily!!!
WARNING: do not go over the test once you are finished because there are more chance that you will make more stupid mistakes, rather than find mistakes you have already made.

I think I should get an award for "the most stupid mistakes ever made". I have a serious problem which will screw up my UAI really BAD!!!

1 or 2 stupid mistakes in 1 HSC exam wont screw up your UAI that badly...it might mean getting 95.45 instead of 95.50
