My prescribed text is Great Expectations and I'm struggling to find sophisticated texts that can relate to the novel. I was thinking of doing Shaun tan but it's too common.
I was trying to decide between Pursuit of happiness and The freedom writers but in the end i thought may be using a foreign film will be better.
