i really want to state rank to prove my ability to some people. im in a rank ~200 school but i am topping science and maths

1) how much work is needed to state rank in chem, physics and MX2?
2) do i need to no everything about MX2 by the end of year 11 to do well in the MX2 hsc paper and be in the competition to get a state ranking?
