Standard english vs Adv english? (1 Viewer)

Is there a big difference (workload, context) between Standard english and Adv english?

I'm currently doing English ADV and didn't do the greatest in the yearlies, though I didn't get dropped to standard like many in my class.

I think I was close in getting asked to move down but, nevertheless the question is doing Adv English worth it?

Is there a huge difference between the 2?
Is the workload for English adv much greater than standard?

It's worth it if your aiming for high 80's-90's. Otherwise, if your not doing well, you might as well go down.
