I've applied to St. Johns and am half-way through the applications for St. Andrews and Wesleys.
St. Johns has already given me an offer, but I've heard from a friend who got a scholarship that you don't find out if you get a scholarship until you've accepted the offer (which costs $550). I'm from rural Australia with poor parents and only a few dollars myself (i.e. I need to scholarship to meet the upfront residential fees - can pay following year working throughout the uni year).
So, should I accept the offer (meaning I can no longer apply to St. Andrews nor Wesleys) or let it lapse?
