Hiya to all,

Im just wondering if anyone has done Dune as SF yet? As it seems to be relatively difficult to lay my hands on any study book for dune, or even on the internet, which focuses particularly on speculative Fiction.

Umm, they gave us the Dune Book itself..

Just trying to get as much info on the book as possible. Because, its relatively harder to analyse a novel for specific issues, whereas in English advanced, u just focus on a poem or somethign rite now.. and not in too much depth..

XD anyways, i finally bought study guide for dune, but there was like only one.. the internet is like really bad, cant seem to find any site which specificly points out which parts of teh book strongly suggest the speculative aspect...etc..

We're doing Dune... in term 2. Once I read it I'll have something to say about it- but there's a really good 8- part mini series that we're going to watch for it i think...
